  TAKE A LOOK AT THE FABULOUS SOUTH ASIAN WEDDING EXPO 2012

  Traditional Indian weddings get a touch of innovation and a bit of twist when the entire ceremony happens in the United States. Starting from decorations to clothing, cuisines, jewelry and all the other arrangements, every small thing reminds an Indian about their culture and heritage in India. So, when any wedding fair is organized in the United States, it draws many Indians who want to experience a native Indian atmosphere in this foreign land.

  After the great success and popularity of the South Asian Wedding Expo in 2010 and 2011, the Shadi Connection team organized their third annual expo on 5^th February 2012 at the Pacific Palms Hotel & Conference Center. About 80 leading vendors, including fashion designers, decorators, wedding planners, hair dressers, makeup artist, florist, food vendors, videographers and photographers participated in this event. In this event, many future brides and grooms were found exploring the most recent trends in Indian wedding arrangements.

  The guests received a heartiest welcome from the make-up group, Ziba Beauty along with warm hospitality of the brand fashion house, Frontier Heritage. These guests were guided to the central hall which was overflowing with the melodious saxophone tunes played by Ramesh Maraj. This entire hall was crowded with a number of vendor stalls surrounding the central portion which was segregated for a catwalk surrounded by a viewing gallery. The fashion show was sponsored by Frontier Heritage and Ziba Beauty.

  All the vendors were busy displaying their products to the guests. Dhamaka Productions, Global Photography, Pacific Hills Banquet & Catering, Los Verdes Golf Club, Borrow It Bindaas Fusion Sounds, Sheer Romance and Kumba Entertainment were some of the other important vendors. The organizers are very happy with the success of this show, and at the end; they have also announced the event date for next year - the show will be held on 27^th January 2013 next year.
